I don't actually think we need too much in terms of numbers, but the type of player we require is of the impact variety. My absolute dream summer would include signing Lautaro Martinez, Sancho, and Koulibaly, but since that won't happen I think this is a little more realistic:

Sane out, Sancho in
Otamendi out, Skriniar/Koulibaly/Dias in
Bravo out, Zack Steffen/anyone in

After completing those three pieces of business if there was an opportunity I would strongly consider one or more of the following as well:

Gundo out for a versatile midfielder. Saul would be amazing or maybe in a big stretch there is an opportunity to rescue Ndombele from Spurs?
Zinchenko out for Chilwell
If we manage to land a big CB target, just sell Stones and go into the year with Laporte/New CB/Ferna/Garcia

I'd love to get Kante from Chelsea.

Kante for me would be a dream signing, he is exactly what we need and probably the best player in the world in that position.

Sincere questions... where are all the good left-backs? Everyone mentions Chilwell but i'm just not convinced he solves anything major. Good player mind, but once again it'd be another okay left-back, not a potentially world class one.

A fit Mendy is the best LB we could have.

There's a few knocking about but not many and no one who'll be genuinely world class.
