Has anybody checked with @Marvin what the weather is going to be like?

Edit: I have changed my opinion on the postponement based on information I received from another member on Bluemoon.

I think it was a marginal call but I can see why it was called off. I think the conditions were eminently playable but there was another weather system going through later in the day which would have caused problems for a stressed infrastructure.

After the break we first play an opponent which has shared the same break schedule as ourselves.

We’d be otherwise playing a Leicester team who already have a game under their belt following the break.

It gives us two games to get rhythm before we face Real.

Laporte could potentially play against West Ham and be rested against Leicester giving him minutes and rest before the Madrid game.

That was my thinking as well.
