bbc news just said our owner also owner Etihad airways is that true ??
Did they really? That’s piss poor from out national broadcaster Sheikh Mansour has no connection with Etihad Airways which is owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi he doesn’t sit on the board or have any executive powers

Doesn't matter now though. The damage has been done. We'll never be permitted to win their trophy. For me, today was the day football died. I can't see me having much enthusiasm for going to the RM home leg - could be the last hurrah for many of us.
I agree, mate, that is what I was getting at. Part of the intended damages of this are independent of what comes next.

This wasn’t simply a regulatory action, this was a multi-location, targeted, Godfather purge mob hit.

Can't understand what all the fuss is about!

Football is corrupt, from grass roots through to the professional game. Every aspect of it is open to corruption.

Clubs, massaging the gate numbers and takings to fiddle the inland revenue, the brown paper bags full of money being passed to managers from agents, managers relatives getting lucrative deals and access to young players in the club's, banning the media from accessing the club or questioning the manager, managers whom take a % of a players fee or have a % of all future sell one, or the gifts for referees waiting for them in the dressing room, or the private hotels, holidays, flights for family and friend...the local FA's selling on cup final tickets, I could go on...

I've been involved in football both professionally and amateur thought my entire life both recreational and work related having worked with professional clubs over many years.

It is blatantly obvious that the cartel in football is no different than those running drug and all manner of illegal activities in towns and cities the world over. The biggest crime families sit in Switzerland UEFA, FIFA and the IOC.

We don't want the unwashed eating from our table!

Let's all just sit back, and wait for the fall out to begin.

Better than a soap opera this!

Can someone please confirm if it is *****TRUE*** or ***FALSE***** that the only right City have to challenging this vindictive, malicious, UEFA ruling is through CAS ?

I have been lead to believe we can take this to the highest courts in the land via Switzerland.

One or two posters on here are alleging we have no right to any further appeal after the CAS appeal and adjudication. That their adjudication will be final and legally binding.

That We/City signed an agreement with UEFA agreeing that this will be our only appeals process.

Surely this is not true, with our owner talking about fighting UEFA all the way.

My understanding is that after CAS find UEFA's processes to be flawed and not to have been carried out in good faith the club's intention will then be to sue UEFA for the financial losses incurred as a result of the damage caused to our reputation and loss of revenue. That is what the club is referring to when it states that we will be going to CAS in the first instance.
