By far the best journo out there. Always fair - he can be critical of us at times but always has a rational point of view - just how it should be.

One of the few to cotton on to the pretty basic idea that financial regulations which prevent aspiring, non-elite clubs to spend the same as those already in the elite cannot and should not ever be described as fair.

If we're going to have financial regulations, it should be the same for all clubs. That means a single wage cap and a single transfer fee cap.

He does nothing that we shouldn't expect from a genuine, professional journalists, he shouldn't be put on a pedestal or held in some esteemed light for doing his job, it's (the majority of) the rest that should aspire to his level, integrity, honesty, fairness should be the norm, not the exception.
