It seems ridiculous that we are being penalised when our owners have only ever wanted to invest money - how many clubs fans consistently complain about lack of investment (Spurs Arsenal Liverpool under Gillette and Hicks Ashley at Newcastle) or bleeding the club dry (rags) - but probably just as well Glazers motives were not challenged by UEFA cos they have done a good job of fucking the club up

I've just heard than **** Simon Jordan on the radio with Sean Custis, sports editor at Sun.

According to Jordan we have falsified broadcasting revenue for the Champions League this year.

"There's no way City can earn £88m and more than Liverpool did for winning it."

I want City to bury this twat.

The broadcasting revenue is the revenue, we don't have a say in it.

The dumb fuck chooses to ignore we got a bigger share of the pool as champions of England.
I've met rocks with more brains than Simon Jordan. How he ran a football club I'll never know.

I just can’t understand why some people are so thick. This **** has ran a football club too, which makes it even more baffling.

City did not vote for Brexit

CFG has shares in a club that is still in the EU

UEFA is a European organisation governed by Swiss and EU law the clubs that take part are mostly governed by EU law or a system that is heavily influenced by EU law through agreements between their country and the EU. Unless the UK has no deal with the EU it to will sign up to basic EU rules on competition law workers rights etc.

I think you either do not understand these matter or are bringing your political bias into it or both

Despite Brexit, the UK is still in the European Economic Area and as such UK companies must be treated fairly in line with other European businesses when the EU courts assess disputes, competitiveness etc.

My worry is that the UEFA AC is independent & the Chairman - José da Cunha Rodrigues - is also independent yet has decided to condone this decision on our actions! Why then, are some people so sure we’ll convince CAS otherwise?
Let's just say the uefa case moved them.......................
... To a bigger house.

Didn't really fuck Trump in the end, his approval rating sky rocketed post acquittal and the Dems look stupid as fuck in election year.
I'd say regarding the impeachment, Democrats look stupid as fuck to the half of their country who support Trump but the half who don't support him think the whole impeachment saga makes Trump look even more terrible because they perceive him to have avoided justice. Subsequently they despise him (even more). So to extrapolate that dynamic to our situation. If we get this overturned then I would expect all of us to think it makes UEFA look stupid as fuck but unfortunately the overwhelming majority of people who don't support City to perceive as having avoided justice and to despise us even more. It's a good comparison because I'm sure that is exactly what will happen if CAS overturn the decision. In terms of reputation, the damage is well and truly done and will now never be undone. But then our reputation was already in the mud anyway because the same forces behind all this have been chipping away for years, so it's nothing new.

Finally got around to reading this. I found it extremely interesting and would urge anyone who hasn't read it yet to do so. It's particularly useful for understanding what City's procedural complaints are against UEFA.
It's a good piece.
If you are interested in legal procedure and what not I also encourage you to visit the CAS FAQ site, starts out pretty basic but has some things on process and procedure in there that I found interesting:

I think it has been pretty much proven the AC are not as independent as they are made out to be. The fact Cerefin tried to cut a deal proves they can be influenced or even do what they are told
