Very happy with that message. Exactly what needs to be said and doubling down on our stance.

If we are still found guilty by CAS, we are in a very difficult place. The club has been so strong that it is innocent, to then be found guilty by an independent body, who then do you believe.

Until then, I believe my club and what it is telling me and anyone assuming guilt at this stage knows as much as I do, which is f all, about the facts. It is just their opinion/prejudice

Good to hear that. We've taken some heavy (and dirty) blows in the last few days, and it feels good to see someone at the very top of the club fronting up, and aligning the support.

Have the premier league released any statements regarding the uefa ban or know how they stand on the matter? From the point of view of other clubs with ambition (think the panel named Leeds and Sheffield wed as examples) they must think what the point of trying to get in to the premier league and Europe if you then have to compete with one arm behind your back while the select few can do what you want. Plus will it put any future investment in premier league product at risk because people might not want to invest in teams like Newcastle. Or are the premier league keeping quiet because like uefa they are protecting the few rather than looking after the game has a whole.
