Think Rodri has been trying but again is being left to patrol midfield mostly on his own. His passing hasn’t been great, though. Less said about Ilkay’s performance thus far the better.

Agree with Kev, Kyle, Bernie, and Dinho doing well. Would actually add Sergio, he’s just been starved of decent service and the one time he got it, he should have recorded an assist.

Replays show Eddie got to the ball first so never a penalty.

Eddie was fine, as despite the commentators trying to make out that he got there late, he actually punched the ball in to Nacho.

Yep just seen the replay and he gets it first.

Kev and us lucky on the handball though and you could see VAR giving it against us.

Thankfully they didnt.

Probably got an eye on Weds and does not want to go toe to toe with Real for 180 Mins. Keep it tight for the first game. Foden does not really have the experience for Real, but who knows with Pep?

So yeah, great warm up for Madrid;
- risk Laporte, Kev and Kun
- play our 2 slowest players in midfield so no one is helping the defence out and every other player has to run twice as much

Foden and Jesus should have started on merit, we'd never be getting over run like this. Pep is god but he is blind when it comes to certain things.
