Fernandinho made some good tackles but I just don't think he is good enough in that position. Several times this season he's been caught out with a simple ball in behind because his positioning is wrong.

I would start Laporte and Otamendi against Madrid.

Good football match that, two teams really going for it, we were just the better team, and deserved the points, I'd love to see the distance some of our players covered, they were immensely strong too.

If there was ever a game for Fernandinho in the Middle it is the Madrid Game.
