These tactics may work. But personally I feel our strengths are clearly going forward not being solid; would rather us take them on more once we've settled, as toe-to-toe I fancy us.

Would be disappointing to play for a solid draw and lose 1-0 or 2-0 without taking many chances.

To be fair in previous years the manager has been slated for not being solid enough etc.

Madrid are one of the best teams in the world. I'd take a 0-0 or even a 0-1 right now.

It’s interesting that Mendy just went on a run at full pelt and rather than press, checked, came back and made a square pass which was followed b6 about five more squad passes. It looks like we are playing to contain them rather than attack them.
