The approach at Spurs last season was to keep it tight and not get blitzed. Given how open City were in previous CL games, I thought that was quite sensible. This is clearly the same thing, and given their issues with counter-attacks this season it does make sense

I'm very impressed with this. I've criticised Pep in the past for his inability to be pragmatic in these big away games, but that's exactly what he did today and the fact that we had the better chances showed that it worked.
