For the interested, Pep said he played Jesus out wide because Madrid's CB's press so aggressively and they thought the space was outside, so they wanted Jesus and Mahrez, our quickest players on the outside.
Once you realise that, it's basically a choice between false 9 or Aguero up top, and I think in a CL knockout tie Pep will always choose the safety of extra midfielders.

Will await the backlash as everyone is rightly excited and happy but he got lucky tonight. His team selection and tactics showed them too much respect and us little respect.
It's as if people seem to forget that we were 0-1 down with that selection and tactics before Sterling came on, Jesus went up top, KDB had options and we played how we normally play.
Madrid were there for the taking and the last ten minutes showed that. The home leg will be a comfortable victory if he doesn't show them respect again.
