Regardless of where UEFA are based they operate in the EU so it all applies Look at GDPR Companies outside of EU are still subject to it that’s why some organisations in the US am have blocked EU web traffic

And that's the interesting point, & why the EU is telling the UK thay access to the single market, means adherence to single market rules, & the ECJ having the ultimate say in any disputes.

The UK can't have their EU cake & eat it. So I'd surmise that whether UEFA like it or not, if this gets to ECJ level, EU Competition & Cartel laws come into force.

He is right, it can have consequences. Look at the case of FC Sion against FIFA and UEFA. Ultimately, the sanctions stood and they even managed to get the club sanctioned in its own league : a 36 points penalty.

The punishment inflicted by the ASF(Association Suisse de Football) is the consequence of the pressure exerted recently (December 17) by FIFA. The latter had formulated an ultimatum to the ASF, giving it until January 13 to pronounce “a withdrawal of three points respectively a package (...) for each match of the 2011/2012 season in which at least one of the six players have been aligned. In the event of non-execution, the ASF risked being suspended, like its clubs, from all international competitions. "FIFA has been forcing to speed things up on this issue," said Marco von Ah. But anyway, Sion would have ended up being punished, he said.

In a press release, FC Sion stigmatized the "lack of courage" of the ASF, accused of "complying with the blackmail of FIFA and collaborating in the injustice facing the Valais club." The club considers it to be an “intolerable violation of sports fairness”.

Be interesting too see if there plan sticks now. It is obvious that we need to do a small rebuilding job to replace the level of players that are either leaving at the end of the season (merlin) and those that are in the twilight of their playing days

No.. the plan is to fuck us up completely. For us to lose pep and all our best players and to set us back 12 years. And they’ll be hoping that ADUG decide it’s not worth the hassle and sell up

that isn’t going to happen though, as much as they would like that too happen.

the next best thing they can do is destabilise the club and effect it in terms of recruitment ability.

We are too far advanced for shiehk mansour to bigger off and write off everything he has done.

We have seen this season that we need to refresh things - if the cartel and uefa get their corrupt sanction to stick then regardless of what someone may say on here, the counter to that would be that it could have a negative impact bringing the players we need in.
