Sorry OP he didn't donate anything to Spain. He donated a million euros to the Catalan region, mainly to purchase much needed PPE equipment for Barcelona and surrounding areas. The BBC have yet again not bothered researching the story and just lazily printed shit. To Pep and many others the two places, Catalan and Spain are totally separate.
