thinking about it.... if there is a letter that's been sent off to CAS its probably incredibly helpful to our cause. 1) it adds to our defence that we have been singled out and FFP rules put in place deliberately to stop our progress - it couldn't be more obvious that there is a witchhunt. 2) How do 10 premier League clubs know the intricate details of our financial affairs to launch a complaint? - unless a certain person with a seat inside UEFA has been briefing them - when he's not been briefing the press of course. 3) Any letter is completely inadmissible at CAS. This is a matter between CAS, UEfA and City. It is clear that there will be moves inside the PL to sanction us at some point and it makes it more relevant than ever that the Rags and Dippers got to hand pick the new CEO - he is in all likelihood a stooge. If nothing else this should keep us on a war footing and end forever, any talk of a compromise - this is a fight to the death.

When you say the PL should manage this - they ARE. PL power lies with those who wrote the letter. CAS need to use this to demonstrate their impartiality

This for me is the most important part of the leak. You see clear as day that the individual clubs will all do what is best for them.

City need to win at CAS or they're fucked. The premier league will act as soon as CAS do, nothing to see here if City win but if they lose then we have just had a glimpse into the future. PL rules need 14 teams to agree for anything to be implemented, we now know for certain 8 will all agree and can be sure another 6 will be easily found if the carrot is juicy enough for them.

Whether there is a letter or not there's clearly collusion. The PL need to manage this but they are too weak. The background to this will no doubt be United having some VERY difficult conversations with their banks who will be very unhappy with United having no CL income again. United are now trying to bully their way into the CL to get the banks off of their backs.

This begs the questions as to why it has been so hard to find a succesor to Scudamore and why appointed candidates withdrew from the position?
I think we all know the answers but it has been hushed up.

Meanwhile leaks and calls for action against City continue whilst the process is still in progress. Imagine this in an English Court of law where the police or CPS find grounds for prosecution. They bring charges, judge guilty without an independant trial or hearing the defendents evidence and set the penalty. Third parties with a conflict of interest then interfere to further compromise the case with calls for the penalty to be implemented in clear breach of legal process. YCMIU

We haven't broken the prem FFP rules, they are different to UEFA ones

Was worried until realised that the Daily Mail reporter pened this, these twats have had it in for us since banning their chief sports reporter from the ground after unfounded allegations about the first FFP case, since then this shit hole of a paper has only ever reported negative things on the club ! Even Martin.Sammuels who.does a free lance column for them hinted at reporters looking to stitch us up over FFP !

Not particularly important point but I think Martin Samuel is an employee of the Mail; probably one of its best paid ones.

Worse still, it looks like a case of double jeopardy where City are accused of falsifying and not cooperating as part of due process whilst UEFA's failure to follow its own standards, measures' rules and processes for the same is laughable.
