Which and why is your favourite month of the year?

Mine is September because I love that late summer early autumn feel, still warm but not too hot, light evenings that you can still sit out in and it’s when my fucking girls have gone back to school, after tormenting me all bastard summer.

May. It’s my birthday, we have a couple of bank holidays, the days are getting longer, the weather is usually better, beer gardens are getting their first proper outing, City often top it off with a couple of extra cups, etc.

Climax to the season. 2 bank holidays. The weather is usually mint and you’re not disappointed if it’s not like you are in the summer.

Whatever month I get to leave my gaff and go to a bar.

May. Football, lambs, spring, buzzer fishing on Lake of Menteith, usually get away to Rutland fishing, weather.
