Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

So the Euros have been put back a year, the Olympics have been put back a year, and these fuckers are trying to suss out how to finish the season.
The government need to step in and put this circus to bed.
They really are proving to be the lowest of the low. They’ve lost any credibility they had to risk people’s lives with this desperate attempt to get the dippers over the line! I’m not shocked that this hasn’t been bought up by the media because they’re just as desperate and of low moral intellect.

Very sad news from France this morning. Pape Diouf, Chairman of OM until fairly recently, has died of this rotten virus. Quite apart from the tragic nature of his apparently very sudden death, Marseille are the country's second biggest (arguably biggest) club. And Pape Diouf was a very high profile media figure in French football and seems to have been liked by all who knew and worked with him. So, to put it into perspective, this is the equivalent of one of our domestic club's Chairman (Chairperson?) or ex-Chairman dying of this disease. You can't help hoping this will change the perspective of people running the game. Why they don't just declare the season null and void is beyond me.

Its the end of the world,BUT we win the last trophy in England...!!!!!!!!!!! :)

2nd lockdown now having to take place in Hong Kong. Any football in September is looking very unlikely never mind the June/July nonsense the greedy PL have been going on about.
