Good read that, and very accurately concluded. We can only speculate who this is, but my money is on Mark Noble, or someone similar with loads of years behind him. Fair play to the guy.

My thoughts exactly. He seems the sort of chap with a conscience who's not afraid to say what he thinks.

Regardless of who it is, they speak on behalf of a lot of us. So fair play to him.

If this was us they’d want us kicked out of the country never mind champions league,sums up the scousers this,they play the greatest club to play and work and support card,well they are a disgrace their owners can more than afford to bail out the non playing staff but why do that when you can get the government to do it for you,despicable shower of bastards..

So much of their income have liverpool, spurs etc lost ? I was also lead to believe that match day revenues was a small part of the overall income of these big clubs. Yet it seems to be causing some 'big' huge problems

Not a bit about the club using a government scheme to pay 80% of the wages, just that the club are ensuring that the staff will be paid 100% of their salary.

Where as if it was us they’d be demanding Boris and co announced it to the nation live on the Downing Street updates across all channels..
