Player Pay Cuts during Crisis

To be honest they do get paid way to much & for others not enough but we he fans haven't got a clue who the fuck they already give £££££ to, each player will be funding 1000's of charity's around the world so before we jump all over it we have to respect also

By the way have City come out & said our non playing staff will be paid, not seen anything but would be class & respect if our owner & CFG around the world got paid?

Already released a statement saying all non-playing staff including casuals are paid in full up to the end of the season (the original end of season anyway).

Just recieved this from the club

Dear all,

We recognise that this is, and will continue to be, an uncertain time for everyone in our community, especially our directly engaged match day casual workers who are unable to work at the club during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the announcement from football’s governing bodies suspending the professional game, we have been working to address a range of matters across the club with the welfare of our staff at the forefront of our minds.

Although we would have liked to provide an update to you sooner, we also felt that it was important to thoroughly explore this issue in detail.

As of today, we can confirm that directly engaged match day casual workers will be paid in full for the fixtures they were scheduled to work, Arsenal, Burnley or both. Alongside this, match day casual workers will also receive a payment, based on pro-rata earnings over the last three months, applied across this season’s remaining five home fixtures. The payment will be made to all directly engaged matchday casual workers who have worked for the club in the past three months.

Please note that you will receive two separate payments for the above, one in April to include the Arsenal and Burnley fixtures, and one in May to include Real Madrid, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Norwich City.

As of Dec 2019 Virgin Group owned 51% of VA, Delta owned 49%

There was a deal in place to sell 31% to Air France but it didn't happen, mainly due to price but possibly because of Brexit.

Its unclear exactly how much of Virgin Group Richard Branson personally owns due to complex structure but he certainly exerts control as a PSC (Person of Significan Control).

These are the facts, so why is Branson the front man asking the British Gov for a huge bale out, Delta don't seem to be asking the US Government for a similar sum? American Airlines are...
The same man who was screaming unfair when the Government helped out Fly Be back in January.

Fucking Liverpool joining the list of the damned.
No shame ever the obnoxious ****s.
It's nothing short of tax payers funding millionaire's wages, an utter disgrace.
Their ****ish cult like followers will say nothing whilst they screamed like fuck when asked to pay increases in season ticket prices for a new stand until they get their way.
Football just died a little bit more......and it's been doing a lot of that lately.

If you read the articles , it makes the Dippers look like martyrs , they have guaranteed their non playing staff will not lose out , ommitting to state that the government will be paying 80% of their salaries through Furlough , whilst the Dippers contribute just 20% , their Yank owners musy have millions in the bank but they have gone with their scouse begging bowl for 80% of wages .
Scouse c88ts always twisting the media narrative to make them look like gods gift , when will the media start to see what this vile football club is all about , my guess is never , because its not financially viable to criticise the scouse low lifes

Just in- EPL says it will be hit with 762m refund to sky if league not finished. Seems like they are using this to justify asking players to take a pay cut.
How about they tell sky to fuck off and not load their problem on the players?

Is that a full season refund for Sky. If so it's a bit rich as they have already made money from subscriptions and advertising for the countless matches they have already shown.
