Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

Now being reported that this virus is only just getting warmed up.

NOT EXPECTED TO PEAK GLOBALLY FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 2 MONTHS.

This is insane.

Never mind football.How is the global economy going to survive this pandemic ?.

Bread lines are starting to appear in United States.Food Banks are struggling to cope.

Likely we will see similar here soon.

Social unrest is just around the corner,People are struggling to survive.

Not only this,people are also starting to unravel fast,"Cabin Fever",domestic abuse calls have risen by 30% in United States.

Three things yet to happen that will be disturbing;

1. The full impact on USA which is not understood yet
2. The real UK figures - we are out in reporting
3. The true picture in developing countries - this is when the shit hits the fan.

Contingency being put in place to control travel in over 3/4 of the the countries globally - we will basically end up with clean and unclean countries if we are not careful and a huge barrier to changing this - politically this opens up a lot of countries to side with China or Russia which will be a problem (already happening) so this will be long and painful....
 
The Premier League are at an advanced stage in talks with the Government over a return for football in June. There is a tentative agreement for the top flight to resume behind closed doors after clubs mapped out a plan on a resumption of matches
