St Georges day

Surprised this wasn't mentioned or that I heard anyway on TV this morning....could have shoehorned something about Major Tom into it.

Born around AD 280, in what is now known as Cappadocia, Turkey, St George was a Christian martyr and became a soldier in the Roman army, later progressing to the role of a personal guard for the Emperor Diocletian.
But he had a skinhead and a plethora of tattoos surely? Liked to take back control.and had a gammon face? Come on give me the gammon face at least. Ok, ok, maybe not but don't even attempt to say he didn't hang a flag out his window all year round to show how patriotic he was. That would be just too much to cope with right now.

Make sure you all get the right day as it is tomorrow the 23rd, looks like some believe it is today.
