The earlier scene where they sing La Marseillaise, the whole cafe joins in to outsing the Nazi officers. The Spanish lady with the guitar is belting out the words while the French hooker who had sold her body to the Germans cries as she finds her soul is still French. And Ingrid Bergman looks on beautifully and proudly.

I haven’t seen it since I was 5 but can’t remember it being much of a rib-tickler?Watching that was one of the funniest days of my childhood.
