Squeezing 9-10 games into the remaining time without impacting the next season (Even if that starts) is nigh on impossible. Scousers have been saying we only have to have 2 matches to decide the league, no thought at all for relegation and promotion issues.

The season is dead as is their march for title number one.

These are the people who usually moan about three games a week especially those who make a big issue because their opponents have an alleged advantage having kicked off 15 mins earlier in the Wednesday match. Not forgetting the 'it's not fair we had to travel further than they did'.

A major European country has to end their league for us to follow. Upto now its only been (in terms of domestic leagues) smaller and less profile leagues. We need one of serie a, La liga or Bundesliga to call it off, then, and only then, will our money grabbing shysters be forced into calling it off.

You are right but of course all the major European leagues have the same constraints to common sense, huge tv deals that they want to honour, greedy owners and a bunch of stupid corrupt shitbags running the show. I honestly think La Liga and the PL will still be sitting there in October suggesting they can finish the season.

I was on a conf call today with work and the business have stated that pending any lifting of restrictions this week, that planning is in place to manage social distancing for those that work in head office. They have stated that the capacity will be reduced to 35% of normal occupancy. So for those lurking Dippers, media and pundits - be very clear, THERE WILL BE NO COMPLETION OF THE SEASON. Its impossible given that SD will be in force into 2021.

The PL would agree that they have October in mind, but they aren't forthcoming as to which year the October falls.

There was a scouse vlogger & influencer on 5 live this morning. Her suggestion was to stop the season now and award each team the amount of points they had gained from this season at the start of the next season. When someone mentioned that this season not all teams had played the same amount of games and that wouldn't be fair on the teams playing less games she, truly had no idea other teams had not played the same games. Her conclusion was, in that case, life is not fair. My thought was than to null & void season as , indeed, life is not fair.
