Shops long gone from Manchester you used to love.

Was rifling through the loft and found a load of old NMEs and 2000ADs also found some old comics in and Odessy 7 bag and remembered I spent many a day in both shops at the pheonix and corn exchange.

I use to spend many a sat in Hurleys on the approach, mainly browsing as I was skint ;-)

So what shops do you miss in town or in your town.

Anyone saying C&A is probably taking the piss
Hurleys for me as well.

Hime and Addison, think it was in a street just off John Dalton St,it was a record shop think all the soul stuff was downstairs, they had a ticket office in there for concerts at Free Trade Hall.

I miss the underground market, if you wanted a cracking pair of jeans a mohair jumper or a tattoo it was the go to place. It had a decent greasy spoon in it as well.
