Apologies if posted elsewhere but just seen on Sky News that Kenny Sansom is in hospital with a serious head injury and fighting for his life after being beaten up.
Hope the poor bloke pulls through, god knows he’s had it rough enough since retirement.

He's had it tough but mainly due to alcohol problems and refusing help

I was working away somewhere.
I think it was orpington.
Used to call in the spoons for breakfast and a few pints after night shift.
He was in there every day.
Nice guy.

Saw an interview with him on an Everton community website recently. Seemed a decent bloke who appeared genuinely interested in the topic of helping homeless rehabilitate in community. Think he said he had moved to Exeter in Devon
