What would happen to a club if they refuse to come back and train?

Good question the FA couldn't do fuck all,
It's a health and safety issue,
it's alright them saying to clubs get back playing, their not the ones who are out on the pitch

I don't blame these bame players especially if they or a relative have been to hospital recently. That seems the easiest place to pick it up. Family is more important than shoehorning in the season to let the dippers win the league

As the PL seem to be intent on shoehorning games by the clubs who have played less as priority, it seems the thinking could be that a couple of games to even everything up would allow them to cancel the season if necessary. That would allow them to relegate teams on an average PPG basis, but most importantly award the *title to the dippers.

I wonder what the legal position is if they relegate teams without playing the full set of fixtures. The same goes for those Championship clubs, should they miss out on promotion. So much TV money at stake.

Klopp already at it. His words only exemplifIes some of the problems restarting the league creates. Firstly saying he’s glad his players got an extended break and rest, he would be given the dramatic dip in form his team was suffering from before everything ended, performances were nowhere near what they were at the start of the season and results were beginning to show too, little impact for them but a potentially big impact for their opposition. And then saying he won’t force anyone to play or train that doesn’t want to. All he’s doing there is setting things in place so that the second they get crowned champions it’ll be their Youth team playing. Now in fairness to them they’d already done enough to win the league and they’ll probably be one of the least impacted sides but it just shows the issues. certain teams play at high intensity and fade as the season goes relying on their early form more heavily whereas others play the long game, rotate heavily and stay consistent, it’s part of the season preparations, changing the season midway through devalues the entire season. As for the playing the kids, I personally believe you can play who you want whenever but in a normal scenario, there’s no way they’ll be playing the kids for the last few games at anfield when their Scandinavian and Irish fans are coming over in their droves demanding to see the best players, there’s none of that pressure behind closed doors, they can throw their last 6 games under no pressure at all which could have serious consequences for other sides
