Happy birthday Sergio Aguero.

32, man the years fly by.

Amazing to think we’ve kept a superstar like Sergio at City for 9 years. I can’t think of any other South American superstar who hasn’t eventually succumbed to the charms of Barca or Real.

32. Really hits home realising there’s not much left in the tank for our greatest ever striker. It’s a Testament to how good he is that nobody has ever mentioned him slowing down. You look at other strikers across the globe and by the time they reach 30 they’ve noticeably declined, but not Sergio.

Like all the true greats he’s evolved and modified his game as he’s gotten older. Over half a yard though which is often all he needs he’s not noticeably declined as you say.

Sergio, happy birthdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Correct, Serge was never really blessed with great pace so his game has never had to change - a player such as Michael Owen was finished after injuries slowed him down because he'd never learned not to rely on it.
