He isnt beating her up is he? He was restraining her, for what we dont know or rightly or wrongly we dont know either as the clip starts there. But he is not groping her, clearly. People have read the tweet saying he does and then watched the clip and decided its right. That is not what it shows

Yes, and it's clear. For a start the black power movement was around for 50 years before the new black panthers.

The black power movement is an umbrella that encompasses emancipation, the civil rights movement, promoting black pride, celebrating black history.

Now under that umbrella came the more unsavoury branches of black nationalism and the black panthers, but the fist is and was a symbol of the entire thing.

The White Power sign is only every about white superiority.

Initially started as internet trolling by 4chan members, it was actually picked up by white supremacists.

By 2019, at least some white supremacists seem to have abandoned the ironic or satiric intent behind the original trolling campaign and used the symbol as a sincere expression of white supremacy, such as when Australian white supremacist Brenton Tarrant flashed the symbol during a March 2019 courtroom appearance soon after his arrest for allegedly murdering 50 people in a shooting spree at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.
