I'd still mention in passing that whether it is unfair restraint of trade has never been tested in the courts (so the court realises it's arbitrating on alleged breach of rules that might not be lawful).
Not quite correct. The Dupont case finished in an unsatisfactory no score draw. Dupont won at first instance in a Belgian court, but then it all got messy on a matter of jurisdiction.

Am with you there but are you absolutely sure you’re entirely rational on all other matters? ;-)
Well - that is an out of date quote now - she and my daughter have added another subject in recent years;-)

Anything less and we would still be facing Premier League sanctions and all that entails.

You really think the other 19 clubs would sit on their hands if we got a one year ban instead of two?

Guilty would be guilty, regardless of a reduced sentence.

People need to understand the gravity of this case, it is all or nothing.

City would be sent into the wilderness for years by a guilty verdict, putting an official stamp on deligitimising every trophy we have won.

That would certainly be in the interim, as we got to the highest courts in the land.

The damage would already been done though.
Sorry if I misunderstood but I thought previously you had inferred that the Premier League can’t do anything on this?

I’m sure Delooney will give the verdict tomorrow on Sunday Supp...I wonder if UEFA and the CAS are aware...

This just gets more and more ridiculous. We are sure City and UEFA are involved are we?

It is ridiculous, isn't it?

So the AP claims such are the levels of secrecy, they don't even know where the case will be tried from remotely, but drops the staggering exclusive it will probably be from London and Switzerland?

And to really push the levels of secrecy over the top, nobody knows the names of the CAS judges involved.

Amazing stuff. Which begs the question, if it is so secret how the fuck do AP know anything concerning the hearing.

Making it up as they go along these twats. I wait with bated breath what the Sundays will reliably inform us tomorrow.

I'm going for an even greater emphasis on City getting away with it, some bullshit last twist to influence the public narrative.
