Timo Werner

I can remember everyone on here saying Fred was a quality signing for the rags, and guess what, some blues are doing the same thing again, nobody knows how well he will do..

Fantastic player, and Chelsea look like they're not fucking about this summer - while Liverpool dithered, arrogantly assuming the player would hang around waiting for the opportunity to play for the greatest manager ever at the bestest club in the whole world whilst they pissed about haggling over the release clause, Chelsea were decisive - as they have been early doors this summer.

I fancy them getting Havertz too - which is a whole new attacking front three for next year, and a very good one at that.

He might well flop, but 76 goals & 27 assists in the past 4 seasons is nothing to sniff at, and they’re getting his best years. For £47.5mil, it’s a great deal on paper.

Nothing to sniff at is quite the understatement. He's got 32 goals and something like 9 or 10 assists in 43 games this season.

He wouldn't necessarily suit us and the way we play but he's a very good player and in the right system, he could be a game changer for Chelsea.

That statistic won't mean fuck all mate if he doesn't gel with the team, the chavs have done great deals on paper over the years only for that said player to flop, let's hope it happens again.

Good player, decent price, but with talk of Kante & Jorginho moving on to pay for these signings, you can’t help feeling their squad is gonna look unbalanced and drained of experience with the likes of Pedro & Willian definitely leaving, that leaves a bit part playing Giroud, Willy who features in the cups and Azpilicueta as 30 & overs, leadership looked a problem for them last season
