Obtaining someones home address

If you grab the guy's vehicle reg then I'm pretty sure the DVLA can give you the address the vehicle is registered to for a small fee (around a tenner). This is assuming he has registered it to his home address.

I know this by the way because some fat yokle bashed my car and drove off.

Haha...it was all about keeping myself, family & house safe with having to use my own vehicle while dealing with iffy characters.

I once had a bad tradesman do some guttering for me. It was a botch job and the next bit of rain made it all leak...anyway, I only had a mobile phone number for him, which he wasn't answering, and his name "Dave".

I went through small claims to try and get it sorted, but they said it was useless without more information.

I got a PI on the job who tracked him down via his mobile number and got him to sign the court's documents admitting fault.

When I went back to the courts, they said it could be fake, or gained under duress, and wouldn't pursue it!

Fucking chancers.

A person can request DVLA to 'hide' an address, I used to do it with my car due to my work.

It's a bit of a long game but why don't you become a postman? Not only do you get shorts and a bicycle but you can deliver fiery justice to this shyster and it would be alright because that's what posties do.

I am not an attorney. I know intent often comes into play when determining if a crime was committed. That being said, perhaps I am too light-hearted for this topic.
