I didn't clock this live last night on the TV, but just reading an article and Bernado didn't clap at the gusrd of honor...he just stood there and then had a drink from his water bottle as they passed him

Liverpool have one of the most obvious game plans but it's just so effective. They do a little drop off from midfield and Van Dijk, Arnold or Robertson will just long ball it into the gap between the full back and centre half.
Mane and Salah are so difficult to track and Garcia will have learnt so much from that in the 1st half.
After that we blew them away.

That guard of honour was superb. All in different coloured tops, bibs and training jackets, we were unrecognisable as City for the photos that will inevitably be in all the papers.
And watch the effort Ederson puts in. Brilliant.
And then we rip 'em a new one.
One season wonders. Second season syndrome next season for them and we'll be back on 'our perch'.
Have another watch at that guard of honour and look at Bernado - absolute quality

They may be champions, but they don't play the best football, as we showed them tonight.
Long ball behind the defence seemed to be their only out ball. Great pressing but little else from the dippers.

I was a little worried about how we will cope in the coming seasons without the last of our current senior players/legends and whether we can replace them successfully. Tonights result was achieved without Sergio, David and Dinho. A little spring in my step this morning.

God that was seriously satisfying!!! Everyone absolutely superb!
One thing that does bug me is this, at 4-0 with 20 mins left why not bring Tommy Doyle on for Rodri or Gundogan? Just don’t get it, would have meant the world to him and a good message to send out to the academy as well. Frustrating that there was literally a sub left to be used and he couldn’t even give him 20 mins 4-0 up
