That's honestly pathetic. Even Leicester didn't do that.

If the FA get their way and the season starts on August 26th, we will have 5 days rest between the Champions League final and the 20/21 season.

Liverpool will have 5 weeks rest.

The players have had over 3 months off, if you were a manager would you want another 5 weeks off? The dippers will probably play friendlies to keep ticking over where as our lot will be playing in competitive games. Hopefully much better for hitting the ground running for the new season.

The breaks in January fucked the dippers up last year, you never know it could do again in August.

Yes. No one is stupid enough to think it's a good thing that instead of a 5 week rest, we might get 5 days break in between this post-lockdown 17 games in 8 weeks and the next, possibly 67 game season, with no winter break.

That means we'd be playing up to 86 games in 50 weeks straight with no breaks other than internationals - when all our players will be playing and travelling.

Unfortunately arsenal play them 3 days before our semi so the will probably have a makeshift team out. Likewise Chelsea play them 3 days after their semi so might be knackered but at least they are playing for league position. Everything seems to fall their way.
