Squad now looks match fit after the restart which given this stupid five sub law gives us a huge advantage. Very comfortable win, great to see Eric get more minutes, but disappointed not to see Doyle get a few minutes though. On to Bournemouth now.

Still waiting for City to put double figure goals past someone. So many opportunities to have done that.

To be fair, I actually think it is very unlikely we will ever do that.

I say that because we’re not Leicester: we have “bigger fish to fry”.

Once we hit 5 or 6 we shift back in to second gear, because we need to conserve our energy for the other two or three competitions we are still in.

We want to win everything, not just one specific match, so everything is about getting the job done, doing it well, and then looking to the next challenge when the result is secured.

We don’t want the 10-0, we want the four out of four and holistic domination.
