Walking On the Sun by Smash Mouth. It was on the radio all the time in 1997 and I was obsessed with it. They've since gone on to be an internet meme.

First album, I'm ashamed to say, was Boyzone's first one. Tbf I was only about 10 or 11 at the time.

I owned other stuff by then (Michael Jackson etc) but that was the first thing I bought with my own money.

Yes they were .I never remembered that .Most early Beatles records just had the Parlophone label.
