Hooliganism and Violence Maine Road 80's/early 90's

Scousers about 87. Just been beat again by them to contribute towards our relegation . But alas on Clermont Rd they wanted to have it after the game. A little young firm of us "gently pushed them back" into the incoming path of some of city's oldskool koolkats and wow that got sorted very quickly

Best one was blue who thought he was the biggest of bollocks. Always portrayed it at work too.
Wolves at home in the mid to late 90s. The first person to come leading the charge AWAY from their fans was this person. I'll describe him as ginger. Wore glasses.
Whenever this was put to him, about him running away, he said it was tactical
"He who fights and runs away,
Lives to fight another day".

There was a game v WHU when they were all in the Main Stand, the block next to North Stand. They all left with about 10 min left. The police had em all pinned in a side St as we departed for my old mans car on Denmark Rd. Anyone remember what season that was?
