All those so called Blue Mooners who did nothing but slag both young Garcia and Pep off,in the pre match thread.
I hope some of you have got big enough balls to admit that you were oh so wrong and Eric did not let us down one iota.
"He`ll put in a so so average game" was one phrase I read on more than one occasion.
The lad is a professional footballer for fucks sake not a Sunday league one and yes he was shit against Leicester ... but who the fuck wasn`t ?

Spot on, I don’t understand why people hate him so much. He did OK tonight and I’d rather have Garcia as 4th choice than Stones any day of the fucking week. People don’t realize how good he is.

Stones on the other hand is a lost cause. He won’t get another chance with Pep.

He certainly passed his audition with flying colours. His next assignment will be when we face a tough quarter finals opponent.

Difficult game. We just had to keep pluging away in the first half. The ref was dreadful and conned by the Porto players. Walker was our best player again. We have a great young player in Torres. He is quick and strong. The two goals he has scored so far have been clinical. Looking forward to seeing more of him. 3 points is all that matters today. Well done lads.

I am fast going off Rodri. Porto closed him down and snuffed him out for most of the game giving the defence little outlet. He just isn’t dynamic enough or hungry enough to find the space and offer himself for the pass. Numerous times he was directly behind his marker giving the defence no chance of an out ball.

Absolutely mate. In addition, he loses the ball in the challenge and his passing under pressure is not good enough for such an pivotal role in our engine room.
