City had to just get on with it when Terence Trent Darby snapped Sane's ACL 10 minutes into the Community Shield season opener last year.

What they should be asking: Can football cope if the Trafford Buccaneers and the Mersey Red Socks continue to try and screw everyone else and go unpunished?

Hilarious. Remember when Rooney walked up to Wigan player and blatantly elbowed him off the ball? No red and no punishment, football carried on fine

I'm not a journalist but even I could cobble a headline or 2 out of..

100's of millions of pounds in debt..

Owners milking them dry..

Wasted millions and millions on crap players..

Manager out of his depth..

Abnormal amount of penalties awarded..

FFP immunity..

Gill on the inside at UEFA, conflict of interest..

Top 4 achieved with very favourable assistance by newly implemented VAR system, thus staving off financial oblivion for another season..

Shirt sponsors Adidas not to slash sponsorship payment due to the rags CL qualification..

Luckily, just in time, as year end numbers are atrocious..

It's about time the media grew some balls and reported on the real stories going on in football instead of constantly kicking us..

Going back to my own point, the FA didn’t punish him because they said Clattenburg had seen it. No explanation or justification as to why the ref had seen an elbow to the face and deemed it not even a foul. Corruption has been rife for years, particularly when it comes to our friends in red

I think they mean.... "can the fcking dippers cope if Pickford isnt punished" or "can the bbc and other shitehouse red media cope if dippers dont win anyfink this season".

The answer to both is a resounding NO, and they will all need bloody counselling to get over it, in the form of extra "disability" benefits.
