Would be nice if we could actually improve our team (of already high priced players) instead of always resorting to splashing cash every transfer window. Maybe players are demotivated knowing "meh, we dont need to get better... we'll sign a few huge priced stars and theyll sort us." Feels a little desperate IMO. Feels like we're repeating the mistake of failing to replace Kompany when we needed to by thinking Sergio is magically going to hobble in after yet another lengthy injury spell and score goals for us again.

Harrison would improve us without spending anything.

IMO there’s a gulf in class between the two, Mahrez is better than Harrison to such a degree that Harrison can presently only dream of getting to that level.

And, not that it counts for much coming from a bald fraud, but that Guardiola fella seems to agree as he picks him for the games that matter.
Unless injured he’ll start in the CL final and Harrison, regardless of his work rate, wouldn’t get in the match day squad for it.
