Any death is a tragedy, how anyone can find an upside beggars belief.

Any death from any cause is a tragedy, nobody is finding upsides to people dying. What we have to do though is find a perspective and in the case of covid if we can see cases falling and know that will in turn lead to a fall in deaths then that can be seen as a positive.
There is nothing we can do about todays deaths, that was set 3 weeks ago when we had over 20,000 cases, today we had 13000 cases so we know deaths are going to improve.

Trafford 43 – up from 20. Best in GM as usual. Heading for three weeks of sub 100 numbers. Total cases 8737. Weekly 280. There is at least a fight on for best weekly numbers now but Trafford is well clear. Pop score up 18 to 3681. Lowest today. Cuts the gap to Stockport for overall Pop score to just 83. Weekly Pop up 4 to 118. Best in GM but stays at 19 ahead of Stockport here as both numbers are comparative to one another based on population numbers. With Salford and Tameside in the hunt now too.
