I wouldn't read into it too much as the media like building people up so they can stick the boot in when they have a fall.

I actually think Curtis Jones is a very good player and doing very well considering he's been thrown in at the deep end.

I prefer them talking about him rather than setting up Foden like they have tried to do in the past, when they said he's a brilliant player too but wouldn't shut up about his game time and probably better off elsewhere.
Once Jones is back on the bench expect the same for him too.
