These are lazy peoples choices. The reality is the football world has 1,000s of footballers and we should not be restricted to what's on the back pages.

Messi is playing for a club that dominates a very weak league one that is much weaker than the Premier League hence they can sustain them in their side. Did you see Real Sociedad and Granada v Man Utd (and a poor Man Utd at that)?

I enjoy my side being able to compete for top trophies and that's far more important than personality and marketing

You'd think he'd be stood front and centre getting the troops revved up.
He couldn't care less.

He is looking at the team hes in and completely devoid of motivation himself, its a shambles.

If he is motivated to stay at Barca for another similar season then fair play to the lad if that’s his tipple of choice..
