It would instantly kill all future protests around the league. United fans aren't going to do what they did today again if it means dropping out of the top 4.

You're right it won't happen, and it would be a crap way for us to win the league, but it would nip this in the bud.

I'd be careful because this could easily spread to Anfield, Arsenal etc. Wherever there is a disaffected fanbase and the league would be wrecked.

Not a good idea at all to up the stakes.
