The Amazing Line Of Duty starts again tonight

The ending suggests another series, but haven’t the 3 leads made plain via social media, interviews etc that none of them will be returning??

Not sure what you were all expecting? The final episode where all that was required was the revealing of the 4th man. There was a very limited number of people it could have been as well.

it’s been left suggesting there is a previously unknown 5th man that got the 4th man his promotions despite his continuing incompetence, which could mean further series.

I’m assuming that’s either Carmichael or the top man Osbourn - always thought he was dodgy in GoT tbh ;-)

The amazing Line of duty concludes on a night when

Steve Arnott having his firearm taken away bravely takes out a machine gun wielding bastard

Whilst mad stare stands in open view of the opened van door and the other machine gun wielding bastard Immediately gives up noticing the pistol her hand.

And Hastings in a performance that can only be described as Day Lewisesque shows his utter contempt at spending so many years chasing a villain so conniving, evil and hardened that he turns out to be in fact as scary as the Plusnet broadband bloke.

For the love of god

What a load of shite, to be sure.
