Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

Change the date of the final, put it back, as was the case last year, August 2020. That would give more options, including Wembley or keeping Istanbul as host. Fans should be able to travel by then.

So you want to play it when our players have just finished the Euro's and are exhausted?

Or when they've been on holiday between seasons for a month and are not match fit?

Doesn't seem like either is a good choice.

Don’t want it at Wembley. The pitch is too big for our pressing game. We tend not to play well there.

Wembley pitch is exactly the same size as the Etihad, as required by UEFA rules.

its a yard wider.

We have won 2 Community Shields, 4 League cup finals and an FA Cup final at Wembley under Pep so it really doesn't matter how big the pitch its, Kenny's idea we play badly there is obviously wrong.

I think it's that old scouse humour...

Lets be honest the wise thing to do is play this in the UK. So actual football supporters of each club can attend Turkey so far have fully vaccinated around 7 million people out of 85 million is it really worth fetching another strain in the country for a football match during a World wide pandemic. We all know UEFA don't give flying about the match going fans,(especially City fans) now they seem detached from reality as well.

Turkey have had the the 4th highest amount of cases over 7 days stop talking shite.
They're 20th in the world over the last seven days as a proportion of population. There are 8 European countries with higher rates than them, but it's only Turkey on the red list.... It's a nonsensical decision to add them at this point, if they were already on, fair enough, but they weren't.

Cases have gone from 63k on April 16th to 20k yesterday. If they get it down to 12k (as they start to see the effect of the lockdown which started last week) then that would be less than 100 cases per 100,000 people. Not saying it should go green, but there is no reason (other than political) for it not to be amber.

Same for both teams. Euros are month earlier at least. Is there a realistic alternative?
