I guess if United sign Sancho, the fans will think they will win the league. Green and gold scarves, hats etc., back in the loft until things turn to shit again. They tell everyone they don't like the Glazers as owners but we know that for most of them, they are simply mard arses who cannot cope with not winning the league.
Correct

If Sancho goes to the swamp, he will regress as a player, just like St Marcus has.

Then, he won’t even make the England squad, never mind the team.

Oh, hang on, he’ll be a rag, won’t he? Scrub that last sentence.

With regards to your first paragraph, he may well regress as a player but he will win the Noble Peace Prize for saving Guatemala from a cyborg attack

In a nutshell mate.

how long can the media keep up hyping up united without titles ? 2013 last time they was champions
they say football is a results game and winners. well the amount of good media they still get is shocking compared to what the real best team in england gets (manchester city)

is it just lazy reporting or pressure from above in keeping your job and dare you write the truth
£1billion has been spent since 2013 at united let that just settle in ? no other club would get away with it
also they are in debt to the tune of £500milion and growing

the media and reporters can not keep hiding from the truth. they have to start calling it as what it is rotten
to the core and its wonderful

It doesn't help when they seem quite happy to keep mentioning that they are in "transition" and "rebuilding" the team.
It somehow excuses 8 years of bad investments player wise, manager after manager, and no clear direction for the future.
The press are almost begging them to spend big. They will get a free pass no matter how much they spend.

It must burn the press that we haven't (yet) spent mega money on one single player.
They scrap the barrel with their "£200m defence" angle. Maguire and VDD are often quoted as "Bargains", yet both cost more than we have ever spent on any player, let alone a defender.

Watch what happens when we spend £100m+ on one player this summer.
The headlines will mainly be about us spending big while other teams are struggling with Covid debts.
Meanwhile, the rags £100m+ spend on Sancho will be hailed as a sign that the rags have got their swagger back. There will be no mention of the ever increasing debt.

So exactly how much did they get fined for the cancelled football match? This was where their "fans" were complaining that the owners do not spend any money on the club. The club who is in process of offering Pogba 400K/week on a 5 year deal, who have supposedly tabled an offer of 75M for Sancho. They are living on scraps, it a wonder how the club keeps going with so little money spent on it.

There will always be positive articles in the UK media simply because every such item brings in a gazillion clicks. End of.

Jadon will be an ok signing for them. Upgrade on James, and offers more than Rashford. English too which always helps with quotas. And they've got a winger that will last ages too. At the end of the day he tries to entertain when playing football so that's why he'll be popular over there. Straight away it'll be a comparison to Sterling I suspect.

The issues for United might just come at the back - goalie and centre back are weak.
