I said at the beginning of this thread he'd likely take a step up this season after establishing himself in the team last year.

Tonight felt like that was happening, it was a bit of a coming of age match. It's not so much that he was exceptional when he had possession (although he was) but the way he demanded the ball and took control of the game despite Mahrez, KDB and Sterling all being there next to him.

It was a level up in terms of maturity.
We seen it last season against Cheltenham Town, he was the main reason why we turned the game
 
Incredible player. He genuinely could have ended the game with 3G/3A. He's got a tractor engine of a shot along with all that natural footballing intelligence.

There's going to be a senior player benched for him and I can't imagine they'll be thrilled but that's why Pep gets the big bucks.
