If there is one manager that I dislike more than any other it is that tooth faced personage over at LiVARpool but I have to admit I've just laughed at his answer to a reporter (reported on BBC) when asked about the 'managerial' situation at the swamp....i.e. the sacking of the wheels man: "I didn’t think about Manchester United for a second. Sorry."
Now he has gone back to the dungeon from whence he came!! :-)

I read somewhere today that Phil The Face has "earned" (been paid) 12 million pounds since he last played a game... surely this can't be true? JJ

Pretty much.
He earns £150k a week and last played against Tranmere in Jan 2020 in FA Cup.
It's a standing joke at the training ground that he's completely money obsessed and won't take a cut for anyone.
He's contracted until 2023 and United have an option of another year.
Meaning, he's gonna cost them at least another £15m.
Befitting of the new Duncan Edwards.
