Good on them, It's only a matter of time before ALL gambling adverts are banned. Why not BEFORE more people's lives are ruined?

Saw this update on the BBC and thought it may be of interest to those in this thread.
Have to say she has it spot on. They'll look back in a few decades and wonder what kind of people we were to allow betting to have such close links with sport.

The major issues are the gambling sites luring people that have never gambled in their lives, to spend all their wages/benefits. The "bonus" offers look good....they suck you in with little wins....until you play for real money. They know what they're doing, and they know it's immoral. But they get rich from others misery.
Did you know, they even allow children to set up an account and deposit money to place bets...they just need a bank card. It's when they WIN and try to withdraw that the betting sites will then ask for proof of age.
