De Bruyne needs to keep well clear of Rudiger in this game. Rudiger was under orders to get De Bruyne out of the match in the Champions League final, no question about it in my view.

I’d say that he gave his greatest ever performance for us against Chelsea (6-0), one so far ahead of his others that he’s never since come close to matching it. That performance was arguably fuelled by the racist abuse he had endured at Stamford Bridge. Indeed, when you consider that we are very much a ‘team’ as opposed to reliant on an exceptional ‘individual’, his performance that day was truly exceptional.
