No, I think he'd pretty much stepped down from running UAE, but still a loss to the family. Didn't realise the Burj Khalifa in Dubai was named after Sheik Khalifa after UAE bailed out Dubai some years ago!It won’t change much, will it, as Khalifa had a stroke 8 years ago?

It was supposed to be the Burj Dubai but almost overnight it was changed to the Burj Khalifa as a thank you with every street sign rapidly changed.
